So I'm sorry that I was unable to post last Saturday and the post I did on Sunday might have been a bit disappointing; I had an engagement with a friend and was unable to post on Saturday. I hope you understand!
Anyway, I thought, since it's now the Easter holidays, that I would write a post about why books are useful in holiday time.

1) Kicking back and Relaxing
Well, obviously, there's the fact that books are really relaxing. Especially in the holidays when you're generally stuck with your family and want an excuse to not talk to anyone! It's so easy in the holidays to relax with a book.

3) Going on an Adventure
So you're bored and stuck in the house. You want to escape any limitations and go somewhere, be someone else. There is only one way in the world to be someone else, and that's with a book. So why not go on an adventure?
4)You can Carry them Anywhere
Of course, books are portable and quite easy to carry (and pack if you go on holiday). Even easier if you have a tablet or device you can read them on. Books alone are portable as long as you don't take too many. So really, you can read anywhere!
5) You can Learn New Things
Finally, if you go to school you know that you don't really learn much during the holidays. However, reading is really informative and can teach you loads of stuff. So, if by any chance you want to learn something, try picking up a book!
Those were my five reasons why books are useful during the holidays.
