Favourites Post; May 2015

Today is my very first favourites post. For those of you who don't know, in these posts I will post the things I have most enjoyed this month! These are in no particular order.

1) Forge of Empires (App)

Forge of Empires is an online app, one which gets me through any spare moments I might have in my day. It's entertaining and interesting. I think it isn't like other apps, where you have to wait for something. With this app, lots of things are going on so there isn't a boring moment. It's a really entertaining game where you get to build a city and develop it from Stone Age to modern day!

2) Babbel (App)

Babbel is another app that you might have seen advertised on the television. It has its own website too, and I am finding it extremely useful. It is an insightful, educational and intuitive app that helps you to learn languages. Going somewhere in the summer? Want to learn the language for when you go? Babbel is perfect! It can teach you for many different purposes, travel being only one. It also includes voice-recognition exercises and teaches you based on your current skill level. I love languages, and love Babbel too!

3) The Year of the Rat by Clare Furniss

I've been reading The Year of the Rat for some time now. It's a fantastic novel. The review is already up, where you'll find out in detail what I thought about it!

So they were my favourites for May!
