This book is very popular with teenage girls, but you may need a box of tissues fairly close while you read this work of art.
Cancer-ridden Hazel is an introvert who doesn't like to make friends. However, things soon change when her mother sends her to a cancer group at her church. From there, she meets Augustus Waters, who has been in remission for a year and a half. He is a kind, thoughtful, poetic boy who gives Hazel the time of her life, a little piece of forever within her numbered days. They fall into blissful love, a bitter-sweet time. That is, until after a romantic holiday together, Augustus admits he is now once again cancerous.
Will their love survive within this bubble of forever?
This book is very sweet and romantic, but, as it is such a sad story, I have to give it 4 stars
