Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska by John Green

If you haven't read these already, I'd recommend buying them- they're a great addition to any bookshelf. You will have noticed that I am a fan of John Green, from the review I posted previously on his masterpiece the Fault in Our Stars. Any reader who enjoyed reading that will love these.

Paper Towns is a thoughtful and striking book, very philosophical yet at the same time so utterly beautiful, with love and charm and wit. The larger-than-life characters leap off the pages and are so unique as to be astounding. It is so raw and full of the essence of teenagedom, and rebellion. However, it is very similar to the next book I am reviewing, Looking for Alaska. I would recommend this at a 4 stars.

Also, if you like Paper Towns, I would read this. Looking for Alaska is, once again, filled with funny wit and laughter. The characters are so real, and relatable, you want to meet them. Green made Alaska so personable and smart and witty that the reader couldn't help but simply fall in love with her.
