For those of you who don't know, YALC is returning this year. It is once again alongside LFCC, the London Film and Comic Convention. The Young Adult Literature Convention gives us chances to meet our favourite authors as well as discovering new ones. You can get books signed and listen to insightful talks.
So, this year, I am hoping to be able to attend. If so, I think it would be really exciting to meet new authors and to listen to inspiring talks about different topics. It was described as 'a hit' by the Telegraph last year, and so promises to be spectacular this year.
I must say that I have quite high expectations of YALC this year, but I think that it will surpass them.
This year authors will include Malorie Blackman and Cassandra Clare. I have reviewed books of both of these authors, and am a massive fan of both, so I'm very excited at the prospect of getting to meet them and other authors.
How many of you are going to YALC? What do you think it will be like? Are you excited? Be sure to leave a comment or share the post; I'd really appreciate it!
