About the Book
Four years ago, Victoria Carlton thought she'd struck gold with her husband, Heath. They'd had a story-book relationship and a picture-perfect double wedding with her brother, Wade, and his bride, Lauren. Together, the four of them had been living peacefully under the same roof. Peacefully, that is, until Victoria finds evidence that Lauren has been having an affair with Heath!
Now, Victoria is out for revenge, and with her brother's assistance, she plans to teach them a few lessons before she deals Heath the divorce papers. A lighthearted take on the tragedy of divorce, Lemons and Liars is enough to make any reader laugh and secretly root for Victoria's antics and Wade's devious streak.

My Review
I'm going to be completely, totally honest here. I loved this book! My only regret is that it is only 13 pages long.
It is sophisticated, funny and well-written. I admire Kafsky's talent- not many people can create a novel with substance and wit within 13 pages. It makes you laugh, and it makes you think more about the way in which the actions of people affect others.
Given that the book was not hugely long, there isn't so much to say. The characters were real and emotive, though the book was not long enough for any substantial character development.
My point is that I really, really enjoyed this novel. Kafsky told me she is coming out with a dystopian novel titled 'The Journey', which is about 300 pages long. I look forward to seeing what Kafsky, who can make such a brilliant little novel of 13 pages, could do with 300.
